The University of Texas at San Antonio Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) is a specialty center of the South-West Texas Border SBDC Network. The SBDC Procurement Technical Assistance Center assists small business owners, veteran entrepreneurs, women-owned small businesses, employers, and energy conscious business owners in a 79-county area.

We are located at 215 S. San Saba in the Washington Place Building, just across the street from the UTSA Downtown Campus and the UTSA Institute for Economic Development. 

 The center provides:

• Government contracting assistance
• Employer services (Human Resources)
• Assistance for veteran entrepreneurs
• Women-owned small business (8m) program
• Business To Business Eagle Ford Shale Opportunities
